Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead
Stagedge, a full service Production company is seeking a full time Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead. The Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead will report to the Sr. Equipment Resource Manager and work closely with the Assistant Director of Operations. This role will be responsible to review daily and weekly events, plan out and ensure equipment requirements for each job are fulfilled in collaboration with the SR. ERM.
- The Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead will be responsible for pulling and preparing gear for the jobs and directing and providing oversight to Audio/Visual Technicians as applicable.
- Understand the event timing both for the setup and dismantle. Ensure a plan to load trucks and deliver the gear to the event site as well as a plan to receive the gear back post event.
- The Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead will work closely with the with Sr. Equipment Resource Manager on areas needing sub-rental, the Production team on job related questions as well as with the Assistant Director of Operations on trucking requirements.
- The Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead will work closely with Technical Director’s and other project Leads to review the gear pulled and prepared for delivery to an event to ensure the order is complete and accurate.
- The Audio/Visual Warehouse Lead must have demonstrated computer skills and be comfortable working within an Inventory system to pull daily reports and specific job requirements.
- The ideal candidate will have ability to look a big picture for each day and week to plan out and delegate work accordingly as well as looking at opportunities to improve overall efficiency and productivity of the team and department.
- Provide backup to Sr. Equipment Resource Manager as needed.
- Candidate will have 5-7 years technical experience in the audio visual/staging business with direct responsibilities in warehousing, logistics, large venue equipment for event staging, inventory control.
- Commercial Driving experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, ability to lift 50lbs, be flexible with their schedule, reliable and be a team player. Occasional weekend and evening work maybe required. General supervisory experience is preferred. Having strong communication skills and attention to details as well as punctuality and clear coordination with other team members is critical.
