Virtual & Hybrid Solutions
Stagedge's Virtual & Hybrid Solutions extend your event beyond the room. From professional livestreaming and custom virtual environments to event apps, registration, and data analytics, we create branded digital experiences that keep remote audiences informed, involved, and connected.
What We Do
Stagedge’s Virtual & Hybrid Solutions are built to give remote audiences a complete experience, not a secondary view of what is happening in the room. We manage livestream production, custom virtual environments, registration, event technology, and audience data so every part of the digital experience works together.
We support corporate sales meetings, investor days, global town halls, and other virtual and hybrid events for teams in biopharma, technology, finance, and healthcare. These programs often reach attendees across multiple cities, countries, and time zones.
We treat hybrid event production as its own discipline, with content, technology, and engagement designed specifically for both in-person and remote audiences.
Livestream Production and Broadcast Support
Not every organization needs a full event build. Some have an event, a platform contract, and a communications team already in place, and what they need is a production partner who can operate confidently inside that environment.
We are a LiveU encoder house, which means video encoding and delivery is core to how we work rather than something we subcontract. That matters most when connectivity is unpredictable, when a program needs redundant paths, or when a broadcast has to reach several destinations at once.
Typical livestream support includes:
- Simultaneous delivery to a client platform and public destinations such as YouTube and LinkedIn
- Redundant encoding and backup connectivity
- Platform operation, or a clean feed handed to your team
- Real-time translation and live captioning
- Recording and video on demand
- Post-event content capture for reuse
Platforms We Work In
Most clients arrive with tools already selected. We bring production expertise to those tools rather than asking a communications team to learn new software before a major event.
- Content delivery and video: Brightcove, LiveU
- Registration and event management: Swoogo, RainFocus
- Audience engagement: Slido, Pigeonhole
- Translation and captioning: Wordly, Smart Lexi, EEG Falcon
If your organization has standardized on something not listed here, that is usually fine. The questions we need answered early are about access, permissions, and how the systems connect to each other.
Who Owns What
The most common failure point in a multi-platform broadcast is not the technology. It is the handoff between teams.
Large virtual and hybrid programs often involve marketing, communications, digital, production, accessibility, and executive stakeholders. Every one of them matters, and somebody still has to be clearly accountable for publishing approval, platform access, content review, change control, escalation, and how success gets measured.
We work that out during planning, not on show day.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a hybrid event, and how does Stagedge support them?
A hybrid event combines an in-person experience at a physical venue with a simultaneous virtual broadcast for attendees watching online. Stagedge supports hybrid events from planning through production, handling everything from the on-site production and live stream setup to the branded virtual venue, digital platform management, and post-event video on demand. Our goal is to make both audiences feel equally valued and equally engaged.
Can you stream to multiple platforms at the same time?
Yes. Simultaneous delivery to a client platform plus public destinations such as YouTube and LinkedIn is a routine part of our livestream production. Each destination has its own encoding requirements, aspect ratios, chat and moderation behavior, and definition of a view, so we plan the distribution before show day rather than adding destinations at the last minute. We also confirm who holds publishing rights on each channel, since that is usually the detail that delays a broadcast.
Who manages the streaming platform during the event?
That depends on what you want, and it should be decided during planning rather than on show day. Stagedge can operate the platform end to end, work alongside your internal team, or hand a clean feed to a platform your organization already manages. What matters most is that one party is clearly accountable for publishing approval, platform access, content review, and escalation. When multiple teams share that responsibility without a defined owner, small issues become large ones quickly.
What happens if the encoder or internet connection fails during a livestream?
We plan for it before show day. As a LiveU encoder house, our approach includes redundant encoding, bonded and backup connectivity paths, and a defined escalation process so the team knows who makes the call and what the fallback looks like. The specifics depend on the venue and the program, and we walk through them with you during pre-production so nobody is learning the plan while it is being used.
What virtual event technology and platforms does Stagedge work with?
We work across the platforms our clients already use. That includes Brightcove for content delivery, Swoogo and RainFocus for registration and event management, Slido and Pigeonhole for audience polling and Q and A, Wordly for real-time translation, and AI captioning tools including Smart Lexi and EEG Falcon. On the broadcast side, we are a LiveU encoder house for video encoding and delivery. If your organization has standardized on something else, we will work in it. Bringing production expertise to your tools is usually faster than asking a communications team to learn new software before a major event.
Can Stagedge help us reach a global audience with translation and captioning?
Yes. We support 108 languages through real-time translation tools including Wordly, along with live captioning through AI services such as Smart Lexi and EEG Falcon. Using content delivery network technology from Brightcove, we maintain high performance and availability for international audiences regardless of where they are watching from.
Does Stagedge offer video on demand (VOD) for virtual and hybrid events?
Yes. VOD is available for live, virtual, and hybrid events. Once your event wraps, recorded content can be made accessible to attendees on demand, extending the lifespan and value of every session. This is particularly valuable for global audiences across different time zones who may not be able to attend live.
Can Stagedge build a custom virtual venue or microsite for our event?
Absolutely. Stagedge designs and builds fully branded, interactive custom virtual venues and microsites that give remote attendees a cohesive and impressive experience from their first click. We optimize every aspect of the virtual attendee journey, from UX and UI design to platform navigation and engagement prompts, so the digital experience feels like a deliberate extension of your brand.
Does Stagedge offer event registration, badging, and onsite app support?
Yes. Stagedge handles both online and in-person registration, onsite badging, and RFID attendance tracking through platforms including Swoogo and RainFocus. We also design and build custom-branded event apps that give attendees everything they need right at their fingertips, including schedules, speaker bios, session information, and direct lines of communication from your team. The attendee journey, from save-the-date through post-event recap, is fully managed.
How does Stagedge use data and analytics to measure virtual event success?
We track attendance rates, session engagement, and attendee satisfaction using integrated analytics tools. That data is delivered post-event as part of our reporting package, giving you the insights you need to make informed marketing and business decisions, and to build smarter events in the future. One thing worth settling early: different platforms count a view differently, so agreeing on which system is authoritative before the event prevents confusion in the post-event report.
