bioMérieux International Sales Meeting

bioMérieux, a worldwide leader in in-vitro diagnostics, came to Stagedge in 2021 with a challenge: turn their in-person international sales meeting into a virtual event. They needed a production partner who could take it on from inception to execution and guide them the whole way. With BioFire and bioMérieux newly joined as one global brand, this would be their first sales meeting with merged teams — so we built the event around the theme “Come Together.”

The challenge

The bioMérieux team had no prior experience with virtual events and needed the expertise and white-glove service Stagedge is known for. The primary concern was the timeline: just 58 working days to produce the event. Our team jumped in and collaborated directly with bioMérieux to bring it to life on time and within budget.

The Stagedge solution

Stagedge began with our Executive Producer, Creative Director, and Director of Experience developing the theme and designing the creative elements for the virtual event. Our technical team traveled for a site survey and worked with the venue to develop the technical schematics needed to bring the stage production to life. The production team conceptualized the stage design and built a COVID-compliant production plan, keeping the venue socially distanced while still engaging for the virtual audience. Our Art Director and Senior Solutions Engineer led the look and feel of the virtual venue website, powered by Brightcove.

The outcome

The event brought two merged organizations together for the first time, delivered on a demanding timeline without compromising quality. The partnership reflected exactly the kind of open communication and trust bioMérieux had hoped to build with a production partner.
