Production Manager, Event/ Broadcast Labor
Stagedge is seeking an initiative-taking Production Manager who will manage the sourcing, securing, and scheduling of talent for all Productions, Live, Virtual and Hybrid. Resources will include internal and external talent in order to staff all Stagedge projects for success.
- This role is integral to the everyday project work and the manager will work very closely with Production, Technical project leads and Sales Operations to ensure a good understanding of project scopes, roles, skills, particular equipment/ technology experience needed in order to staff all jobs with the “right” skilled technicians/engineers.
- The Production Manager must be highly organized, have ability to manage the scheduling of varying crew sizes for multiple projects, times, roles, and skills simultaneously and be flexible working within an environment that changes quickly due to workforce/labor challenges and client demands.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years’ experience in a comparable role of scheduling and coordinating technical labor resources and have a strong commitment to ensuring workflow, processes and the best technology are in place to streamline and provide visibility for all stakeholders into overall plan/ schedules for jobs and resources.
Effective communication, project management organization and meticulous attention to details are key qualities of an ideal candidate. Working knowledge of IntelliEvent software system or comparable Labor software and strong working knowledge of Excel and functionality is a plus. Excellent computer skills (Excel, MS Project, PPT, word, Outlook Teams). Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
